No. The membership is perfect for 3 to 5-year-old children.

All materials inside the membership are designed to meet every preschooler's individual learning needs by showing parents how to differentiate every activity.

Here's what we mean by differentiate:

Example: If the weekly learning activity is an alphabet identification game and your preschooler already knows the letter names, we will show you additional ways in which you can use this game to continue to move your child along academically. 

The same goes for the opposite scenario. If your child is younger and isn't quite ready to learn/interested in learning letter names, we provide ideas for how you can still use this activity with your younger child.

We explain how to do all of this in the training videos.

The activities inside the Journey to Kindergarten membership were not developed by a special education teacher. Depending on the severity of your child's learning disability, you may be able to use the resources provided with your child.

Each training video shows you how to use the activities in multiple ways. If you are familiar with your child's developmental stage and are used to adapting materials to meet his or her needs, then the membership could be a good fit for you.

Everything you need to teach the 2 math and 2 literacy activities is provided in the downloads. However, we do show you additional materials such as manipulatives and other items that you could use to enhance these activities. All of these suggestions are entirely optional. 

Most enrichment activities require additional items you probably already have around your house (Ex: construction paper, glue, scissors, and paint supplies). Occasionally, there are items you won't have on hand. In this case, we recommend looking for these items at your local dollar store.

We do our best to keep costs very low with all of our suggested activities. When possible, feel free to substitute suggested supplies for things you already have on hand.

At this time, we do not offer print services for our materials. We suggest using a local print shop or your own home printer.

You should expect to print 10-15 pages per month depending on which documents you choose to print and which ones you choose to access digitally.

All math and literacy games must be printed in order to be completed. We suggest color copies, but that is entirely up to your preference.

We strive to give you the most value possible with our membership materials. However, we understand that not everyone will see it as a perfect fit.

If you're not fully satisfied, send us an email within 7 days of your purchase for a refund.

You may cancel your monthly or yearly membership at any time. Once your membership is canceled, you will no longer have access to the activity portal. If you wish to rejoin, we'd love to have you back, but you must join at the current monthly or yearly rate.
